Latin Online for Beginners

Online Latin tutoring for school-aged beginner students (from Year 4), whether in homeschooling, classical education or in the Catholic or state education systems. Suitable for beginners, and aimed at teaching both Latin itself and reinforcing English spelling and grammar skills.

Class size: 4 to 5 students. The composition and timing of classes is negotiable on a cohort by cohort basis. I am a qualified and experienced language teacher currently registered with the South Australian Teacher Registration Board (current valid WWC and national Police checks).

Latin for Students of Italian

This short course is designed for students of Italian who are interested in the history and evolution of the Italian language. We examine the similarities and differences between Latin and Italian, the origin of many aspects of Italian grammar, and the continuing role of Latin in Italian education to this day.
