Michael Hall has 30 years experience teaching English as a Second Language to students of all ages and levels in Australia. He studied TESOL, Spanish and Arabic at the University of Melbourne, followed by a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics at the same institution. Over the past decade he has continued to study Italian, and recently resumed Latin which he first studied in secondary school.
Regardless of the language involved, Michael is a proponent of text-based and narrative-based approaches to language teaching using authentic texts wherever possible. He publishes literature, reviews and translations on his Substack.
